Stanground Baptist Church

If you are looking for the perfect church then we are not it, we are a church made up of imperfect people walking in faith with Jesus Christ. We would say that we are a welcoming church made up of all ages and backgrounds. We are located in the older part of the village of Stanground. The building was built in 1880 but we have modernised the interior of the building. We believe that we are a caring church which offers a friendly welcome. Why not come and join us as we worship God using a variety of styles of music using contemporary and traditional songs and hymns.

On the first Sunday of each month we have a prayer meeting at 10am followed by a café style service at 11am. On other Sunday mornings our services are at 10:15am and we celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the second and fourth Sundays of each month.

As members of Stanground Baptist Church we believe we are called by God to:-
  • Worship Him and celebrate His presence among us.
  • Show His love for our local community by serving them and sharing with them the ‘Good News’ of Jesus Christ.
  • Build one another up and encourage one another in our faith.
  • Teach those who are believers and enable them to grow spiritually.
